A Fun (FREE!) Thing

I have more to share about our blessed ThanksLiving, but I wanted to throw this little item in cause it was one of those blessings and day brighteners that God likes to bestow.
I just love it when fun little things like this happen...
My Story:
I wanted a fresh, green, Christmas wreath for the front of our house. I had heard on the radio of pine roping being sold for 79 cents a foot at a local store. I decided I'd buy the roping and make my own wreath. I stopped at the store, no pine roping in sight. There were fresh wreaths, but the prices started at $25... somehow I was not impressed, but you know me, ultra-creative, uber-resourceful and with some panache thrown in for good measure!
I looked down at the pavement next to the Christmas trees, and there lay tree trimmings... branches of lovely, fresh smelling greenery.  Hmmm... I wonder? I stepped into the store, and asked a clerk about the cuttings... "Take them!" she said.

I gathered them up and popped them into the car trunk...he he heee...
Came home and went to work. Grabbed my cutters, strong wire, and work gloves. I was a-snippin and a-bendin' and wa-la!

Add a wire ribbon bow that I picked up years ago from the second hand store, and...
Double Wa-la!

And it's twice the size as the $25 wreaths!
Merry Christmas!
