I have absolutely nothing exciting to report.
Christmas was quiet but good.
We are having great weather for this time of year.
I'm getting the urge to repaint a room...
I got a web cam for Christmas
I just installed Skype. We're gonna see the Gkids live in action.
Handyman gave me some Yak Traks as a gift and I'm really excited about it.
I now like practical gifts as opposed to something I don't need. Besides, I think someone else owns the Hope Diamond.
We still have some birthday cake left, but the icing is getting kinda hard.
I've been visiting with a couple of friends.
I'm thinking about New Years Resolutions and I have a few ideas.
The dog is the resident greeter at my friend's store.

We laid new flooring and repainted the dining room the last two days. My advise is, don't do it! Eat some more birthday cake and find something good to read instead!
Ha, we shall see! I looked in our basement for some leftover paint, and no luck. The room I would paint is small... but I might just take your advice.
Sometimes it is good to have nothing to report - life needs its ordinary days too! Good luck with the decorating - Skype is a fabulous invention isn't it? It enables me to chat free of charge to friends across the seas which can only be a good thing - hope you will enjoy using it too.
As soon as my daughter and step-daughter get Skype downloaded, we'll be good to go!
And a very pleasant day was had by all in the company of friends and family. Oh what a meal, Turkey, Duck, Chicken and to top it all of, Trifle, yum! Pictures to follow soon.
I must admit, I enjoy painting. Takes me a while to get motivated but once I start there's no stopping. And the smell of fresh paint, Mm.

thanks, Geoff! Now you've re-inspired me! I asked Handyman what color he thought I should paint the room and he said the color it is now... I don't know why he gets so worked up, I do the painting. I painted all of the living room and of course, I did a wonderful job...
He's just pulling your leg, it's a man thing. Actually it's kinda sexy seeing a pretty woman in overalls splattered with paint so you just go ahead and be sexy ha ha ha.
Now, where did I put those overalls...? ;)
