The Innocent Baby

from kristibutler.blogspot.com
I was thinking this past Sunday how we look at little babies and comment how sweet and innocent they are. I realized that the only innocent and sinless baby ever born was Jesus. Only a sinless, blemish-free lamb could be sacrificed for our sin. I know Jesus was not born on December 25th, but that is the day we celebrate His birth.  How simple things could be if we kept our focus on Jesus and off all the commercialism of the season.  I would like to work more towards that next year, and I hope I can be successful.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
1 Corinthians 5: 21

May all the surprise and delight you've created (peanut brittle, etc.) come back to fill your Christmas holiday with gladness.

Keep Jesus first now and always!

That was supposed to be "save" not "see" in the comment above. Too excited about your blog! :) BTW, I gave all my fudge away too (mainly to the plumber, need to keep on his good side). One taste and I remember why I don't make it anymore. Wow! Sweet! Like what did I expect with four cups of sugar?! Wonderful traveling down memory lane with you. Let's do it again soon!

Ha, ha, my 'plumber' is my husband, but come to think of it, he hardly had any of the fudge to eat!
